WFP HALL OF LAUREATES
3d interior renderings feature historical details included in the historic renovations of the World Food Prize Hall of Laureates in Des Moines Iowa.
Historic renovation is all about the preservation of the details. These 3d interior renderings were created as part of the nearly $30 Million capital fundraising campaign to restore the old Des Moines library into the Hall of Laureates. The renderings show the aim of the design team to bring back the historic elements and architectural features of the building. These 3d interior renderings feature the recreation of historical details included in the historic renovations. Extra care was included in the 3d models including the recreation of the light fixtures, wood trim, and historic carpet patterns.
Dr. Norman E. Borlaug founded The World Food Prize, an annual award for achievements in improving the quality, quantity, and availability of food in the world. The foundation took on the historic restoration project of the century-old Des Moines Public Library Building. This restored Beaux Arts building is now the WFP Hall of Laureates and pays tribute to Iowa’s agricultural pioneers.
You can see more about the building and the historic restoration on The World Food Prize Foundation’s website.
